Day 1 – Thu – Sep 10 – USA /Kuala Lumpur, Malaysiaimage
Depart from North America for Asia. Cross the International Date Line. Flying EVA Airlines a member of the Star Alliance, we do all possible to arrange flights with other tour members. Please call us for flight information- we do it all for your ease and comfort.

Day 2 Fri – Sep 11 Arrive Kuala Lumpur
EVA Airlines arrives at 11:15 AM. We are met after customs and immigration and transferred to our hotel. Rooms available from 14:00. Use your list of other travelers to connect during this time or rest before our spectacular dinner together. Sunset @ Twin Towers with dinner 6.00 PM - As the sun starts to set, we visit the most iconic landmark in Kuala Lumpur, Petronas Twin Towers. Soaring to a height of almost 1500 ft, the 88 story twin towers are KL's crown jewel. The 45-minute guided tour includes panoramic and aerial views of the magnificent pink-tinged sunset transitioning to the night scene of Kuala Lumpur. The sky bridge between the two towers is on the 41/42 floors; site of many movie sets. Our Welcome dinner is an authentic Malay experience in a local restaurant. Malay cuisine is known for its spicy and aromatic flavors commonly found in Southeast Asia. (Visiting time at Petronas towers is subject to availability).

Day 3 Sat – Sep 12 Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur History and Heritage Tour (3 hours)
9.00 AM – Kuala Lumpur is rich with the history of evolution from a small tin-mining settlement to a modern skyscraper city. The city is further enhanced by its wonderful architecture, prominent landmarks and unique buildings. You will be amazed at the blend of Oriental and colonial parts of the city. Intertwined are interesting Moorish, Mughal-Tudor and Islamic buildings. Our first visit is to Istana Negara, official residence of the Agong (Head of State or King of Malaysia). The sprawling palace was built in 1928. The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia houses thousands of artifacts about Islamic civilization in this region- different from that of the Middle East. On the way to Independence Square, we pass the National Mosque and Kuala Lumpur’s Old Railway Station. Set in front of the historic Sultan Abdul Samad Building, this is where the Union Jack flag was lowered August 31, 1957.Visit Orang Asli Crafts Museum as well as Pavilion Mall and Central Market. Lunch in a local restaurant. You can choose to linger here and return to the hotel by taxi. (instructions will be given by our guide) or return to the hotel.

Day 4 – Sun – Sep 13 Kuala Lumpur / Malacca (2 hours)
Depart the city around 10AM and drive to Malacca. We’ll stop for optional lunch before continuing to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon tour this UNESCO World Heritage site on a Malacca Heritage Walking Tour.Malacca is a charming blend of Nonya and Peranakan, Malaysian and Chinese - one of the oldest cities in Malaysia. You’ll find fascinating shops and antiques as well as many local artisans. After dinner visit the Jonkar Street night market, a fun experience. Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 5- Mon – Sep 14 Malacca /Singapore (3 hours)
After breakfast we continue our drive, cross the Johor Causeway and travel into Singapore. We are met by our Singapore guide and escorted to our hotel. 3:30 PM Afternoon Tea at Chihuly Lounge and Art Collection – 3.5 hours Freshen up at the hotel before we depart for the Chihuly Lounge at the Ritz Carlton Millennia at 3:00. Relax and unwind in Chihuly Lounge, named for famed American glass artist Dale Chihuly. Linger over our 8-course afternoon tea in the presence of Chihuly’s stunning glass sculptures. After tea we are free to enjoy on our own, the hotel’s vast collection of art pieces of Dale Chihuly, Andy Warhol and other icons. Return to the hotel.

Day 6 – Tue – Sep 15 Singapore City Tour
9:00 AM Morning Tai Chi Session
Singapore City Tour with Lunch – 6.5 hours
We stop at Merlion Park, Thian Hock Keng Temple, Chinatown and visit to Little India. Visit the Botanic Garden with its world-famous Orchid Garden. Lunch today on a wonderful variety of Dim Sum in a local Chinese Restaurant. Drop-off those who wish at world famous ION Orchard, the multi-story experiential and lifestyle center with 660,000 square feet of space or return to the hotel While we await the Grand Opening of Raffles Hotel Singapore, following restoration, our last stop is at the historic Long Bar fully restored for a taste of Singapore’s very own concoction, ‘the Singapore Sling’, . As the saying goes, ‘If you have not been to Raffles, you have not been to Singapore’.We continue the tradition of throwing peanut shells on the floor as we sip a chilled glass of the hand-shaken Singapore Sling Optional: Singapore Night Zoo Safari - the world’s first nocturnal zoo and one of the most popular attractions in Singapore - Join-in tour

Day 7 – Wed – Sep 16 Singapore / Royal City of Yogyakarta
We transfer to the airport for Air Asia at 11:10 AM. We arrive at 12:25PM in Yogyakarta on the island of Java. We are now in a traditional and exotic Royal island. Formed mostly as the result of volcanic eruptions, Java is the 13th largest island in the world. A chain of volcanic mountains forms an east-west spine. Much of Indonesian history took place here: the center of powerful Hindu-Buddhist empires, Islamic sultanates, and core of the colonial Dutch East Indies. Upon arrival, we are met by our English-speaking guide, lunch at a local restaurant. Then continue to our hotel. The remainder of the day is free to try the gorgeous Asian spa, lagoon pools or other amenities. Note: in Asia many hotels have connected shopping arcades if you wish to wander without leaving the premises.

Day 8 – Thu – Sept 17 Borobudur & Prambanan
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Drive to Magelang to visit the world’s largest Buddhist monument, Borobudur. This vast, ancient site features thousands of sculptures rising on seven levels and represents the peak of 8th - 10th century South Asian Buddhist art. It is the oldest Mahayana Buddhist Temple in Indonesia.. A main dome, is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues seated inside a perforated stupa. Later explore Prambanan, an ancient complex built in the style of Javanese - Hindu art that stands on the heights of the Dieng Plateau. The temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, and is one of the largest and the most beautiful Hindu temples in Southeast Asia.. We also visit an exotic Bird Market. In the evening, we are transferred to a local restaurant to enjoy dinner.

Day 9 – Fri – Sep 18 Yogyakarta / Bali / Sanur
Visit the elegant Kraton Royal Center with museums, temples, craft workshops and markets displaying the finest court architecture in Java. Dioramas with life-size puppets show the grandeur of earlier times, including a royal wedding. See fabulous batiks in production, for which the area is famous. The Kraton encompasses a main palace, Sultan's residence and a large residential area where the Sultan’s servants lived. There are music and dance shows within the palace regularly. The Sultan maintains three gamelans (traditional music ensembles), and the pavilion nearest the entrance houses one of them. If they're playing, sit down and be patient, this music takes time. This afternoon fly to the island paradise of Bali. Upon arrival, we are met and transferred to our hotel. The rest of day is at leisure.

Day 10 – Sat – Sep 19 Bali/ Lubuan Bajo
This morning we fly (1/1/2 hours) to Lubuan Bajo. Leave main luggage in Bali and take a tote with your swimsuit and water sandals. Don’t forget sunscreen. Upon arrival at Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo, meet with our guide then directly transfer to Labuan Bajo Harbor to embark on a local wooden boat with open deck. A short boat journey gets us to Kelor Island for snorkeling near the island (snorkeling gear is provided) or just admire the views. Lunch is served onboard. Continue to Rinca Island, one of the best locations to see the dragons in natural habitat via an approximate 2-hour soft trek on the island in search for the dragons, guided by a local ranger. Afterwards, continue sailing towards Kalong Island to observe bats filling the sky as they come home to roost at sunset. Transfer back to the main island towards Labuan Bajo and directly to our hotel for check-in. Set Menu dinner at the hotel. Our lovely accommodations overlook the beach.

Day 11 – Sun – Sep 20 Lubuan Bajo to Bali
Early check out from our hotel and transfer for our morning return to Bali. We’ drive to Ubud, the cultural center of Bali, where centuries-old traditions are preserved. Visit Ubud Market, world-famous treasures made here include intricate paintings, sculpture and wood carvings. Famous as an arts and crafts hub, much of the town and nearby villages consist of artists' workshops and galleries. We visit Tirta Empul Holy Spring Water Temple built in the 10th century. The Balinese believe in the healing powers of the waters. Transfer back to our hotel and enjoy evening at leisure.

Day 12 Mon – Sep 21 Bali / Home
Enjoy a AM yoga session at hotel. 9: 30 AM depart for the center. Shopping and photo ops until we return to the hotel to freshen up before our farewell dinner. A Farewell dinner is served at the hotel with Balinese Dance performances. Depart for the airport at est. 10:30 PM (late check-out included) for a 01:10 AM flight.

US passport holders do not require a visa for Malaysia, Singapore or Indonesia. Please ensure that your passport is valid for six months beyond the return date of the tour

WTG Cancellations:

Due to the special nature of the programs featured in this brochure, suppliers impose rigid cancellation fees; please be aware that SITA has no control over such fees and cannot make any exceptions to these charges. Note: All cancellations must be received by SITA in writing; cancellation/s will be effective when the written notice is received at SITA's offices in Encino, CA.

If a cancellation is received after SITA is in possession of the initial deposit, but more than 90 days prior to departure , the cancellation fee incurred will be $350 per person (a higher cancellation fee may apply to some tours). If cancellation is received between 89 and 61 days prior to departure the fee incurred will be 75% of the entire tour price. No refunds whatsoever will be made for cancellations received within the last 60 days prior to departure.

Airfares are subject to different rules and cancellation fees; some may be non-refundable. Details will be provided at the time of booking and are subject to change by the airline.
