9 Days Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater
Tanzania has the largest wild animal population in the world. The country's sites have magical names: The Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Olduvai Gorge, Kilimangaro, Zanzibar. Our trip has been structured with only a short time in the urban capitals, leaving us with ample time for game drives as we move right into the bush. Different national parks have been included for a variety of landscape and game. We have also contacted Tanzanian friends for introductions to some Peace Corps volunteers and others to meet with us.
Besides the game and birds, the population of Tanzania is very exotic with 260 tribes, their villages and crafts. Serena Safari Lodges are built in exotic local styles and in lovely locations. December weather is ideal. Start practicing with your binoculars and cameras today!
