Colors of India & Pushkar Fair
  October 28, 2019
The Women's Travel Group's India is a must. Your tour will mean so much more with a visit to a private home, a boat ride on the Ganges, a visit to a classical dance school, even a sample yoga lesson. We stay in fine hotels and you will be escorted throughout your tour. There is no time wasted in the guide's nephew's jewelry shop. There is plenty of time to learn and love the magic of India.

During our trip, one dinner will be held in a private home.

An extension to the famed Pushkar Fair is offered. We spend two nights in deluxe tents, where you will be very comfortable. The Fair is a riot of color with camel races, folk dancing, magic shows and musical concerts.
  Ancient Egypt
  Dec 2 to 11, 2019
There are very few places which give you an experience of oneness with ancient souls. Egypt is the most emotionally moving of these iconic countries. From the oriental markets in Cairo, to the Pyramids to the mysterious Sphinx, there is a feeling in the pit of your stomach that you are somehow connected. We fly to Abu Simbel  to see the magical Temples of Ramses II & Nefertari. Then it's on to Aswan to  board our First Class Nile Cruise. We visit all the important sites as we float past villages built on the green shores that end with the Sahara sands. Women's Travel Group specials are: our private archaeologist, dinner in a private home, and a visit to women's workshops along the way.

For those historians in the group, there is an option to go to Alexandria.

Weather is perfect in December! Our ship was renovated this year to a high standard - however we only have a few booked rooms. This trip must be booked and deposited very early.

Journey to Golden Burma (Myanmar) Laos - Pre Tour - Inle Lake Extension
  December 1 to 10, 2020
Myanmar was closed to most tourists until recently. This isolation left the country unspoiled by outsiders, construction, and Western media. In this trip we combine two of the most 'original' SE Asian countries: Myanmar and Laos. It is a perfect region to experience the real SE Asia: its golden temples, candle-lit monasteries, and untouched villages with hand made crafts. Whether you walk with monks, merchants or mothers, you will find friendly locals excited that you are visiting. Both are set against green tropical foothills feeding lakes and rivers. Laos is also less visited; Laos was a French colony. A legacy is left in food and colonial buildings but not in its many remote villages.

We can promise you an experience into ancient cultures and out of your bubble.
  Some special features   include:
  • Culinary classes and local market visits
  • Henna hand painting
  • Explore local villages
  • Visit to a classical dance school and yoga lesson in India
  • Well-paced itineraries allowing for interaction with your fellow travelers
