Ever wanted to see a glacier from inside? This guided tour gives you a chance to do exactly that, as well as introducing Iceland’s history and best - known natural treasures, the Golden Circle. If the conditions are right, the hotel in the country-side is the perfect spot for viewing the famous Northern Lights.

Day 1. Welcome To Iceland
Arrival transfer from Keflavik airport to your hotel in Reykjavik (Shared transfer).

Day 2. History And Indulging
After a good breakfast at your hotel in Reykjavik you meet up with our guide at 9 am and we head to the countryside. After an hour drive we arrive in the beautiful village of Borgarnes where we visit the Settlement Centre. The Settlement exhibition employs sophisticated lighting and multimedia to give an impression of what it was like for the first settlers of Iceland to set out across the wilds of North Atlantic to their new home. The story of warrior-poet Egill Skallagrimsson is told, on the other hand, through works of art in wood by many artists, depicting aspects of the saga. After the visit at the Settlement Centre we head inland to Deildartunguhver, which is Europe´s most powerful hot spring providing 180 l/sec of 98°C hot water. Next to Deildartunguhver is the geothermal nature bath Krauma, which opens summer 2017, where we can soak ourselves in outdoor hot tubs and enjoy the saunas and unique tranquillity room. Please note that in Iceland it is a custom to wear swimsuits in saunas. After the indulging and relaxing bath at Krauma, we head to Hraunfossar waterfalls, one of the most beautiful places in Iceland. There, the clear cold springs of subterranean water seep through the lava and run as tiny waterfalls and rapids into the Hvitá glacier river. In the late afternoon, we arrive at the luxurious Hotel

Husafell, which is placed between waterfalls and glaciers. The restaurant is famous for their a la carte menus. This is the perfect place to observe the Northern Lights in the evening right from the hotel door (weather and activity dependable). (B)

Day 3. Into The Glacier
After breakfast, we head for the adventurous Glacier experience at Langjökull. The tour starts right by the hotel and we step into a monster truck, which takes us up on the Langjökull glacier and where you get the opportunity to explore the glacier and see it from inside. An experienced guide will lead the way the whole time to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves to the fullest. In the afternoon, we head to Reykjavik and arrive at hotel in Reykjavik in the early afternoon with the evening at your disposal in the Northernmost capital of the world. (B)

Day 4. Golden Day
After a good breakfast, you meet up with our guide at 9 am to tour the renowned Golden Circle. The tour includes a visit to the famous Geysir hot spring area, where Strokkur erupts every 5-10 minutes. We also visit the Gullfoss (Golden) waterfall and Thingvellir national park, where the forces of the Great Atlantic Rift are clearly visible. This is where the North American and European tectonic plates drift apart at a rate of 2-6 cm per year. Thingvellir is also the place where the ancient Icelandic parliament was established in 930. It is an area of truly outstanding beauty as well as geological and historical significance. (B)

Day 5. Goodbye Iceland
