Tour overview:
From the open plains of Masai Mara, the shimmery pink waters of Lake Nakuru and the swamps of Amboseli, this safari takes in three of the most picturesque regions in Kenya. It also provides the perfect opportunity to spot the Big-5 and to capture some diverse scenery.

Day 1 - Saturday - Depart New York / Nairobi
Depart New York's JFK Airport onboard Kenya Airways overnight flight to Nairobi.

Day 2 - Sunday - Arrive Nairobi
Upon arrival, to Nairobi, Kenya, you are met and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure with optional excursions available. Overnight Eka Hotel.

Day 3 - Monday - Nairobi / Masai Mara National Reserve
Leaving Nairobi, travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands and head down the Rift Escarpment, reaching the Masai Mara mid-day. Afternoon game drive returning to the lodge as the sun sets. Overnight Keekorok Lodge. (BLD)

Day 4 - Tuesday - Masai Mara National Reserve - Village Visit
We may encounter prides of lions, gatherings of hippo, and vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and antelope on morning and afternoon game drives. Mid morning visit to local Masai Village. Overnight Keekorok Lodge. (BLD)

Day 5 - Wednesday - Masai Mara National Reserve / Lake Nakuru National Park
Leaving the Masai Mara, travel across the ‘breadbasket' of Kenya, before arriving at Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often colored with a shimmering pink, from thousands of beautiful flamingos lining its shores. Afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park. Overnight Lake Nakuru Lodge. (BLD)

Day 6 - Thursday - Lake Nakuru / Lake Naivasha/ Amboseli National Park
Early morning departure for a tranquil boat ride on Lake Naivasha. We then head south towards Amboseli National Park with picnic lunch. Overnight Ol Tukai Lodge. (BLD)

Day 7 - Friday - Amboseli National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives where we may spot vast herds of elephant accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other wildlife - lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboons, gazelle, hippo and wildebeest to name but a few. Overnight Ol Tukai Lodge. (BLD)

Day 8 - Saturday - Amboseli National Park / Depart Nairobi
Catch your last views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as we return to Nairobi, arriving by midday. A day-use room is provided to freshen up before our evening transfer to the airport. Kenya Airways overnight flight from Nairobi to New York. (B)

Day 9 - Sunday - Arrive New York
Early morning arrival to New York's JFK Airport.
