Day 1 Wed - Depart Delhi
Depart from Delhi Safdarjung Railway station and travel India on board the Palace-on-Wheels for a week-long Rajasthan tour.

Day 2 Thu – Jaipur (Arrival 3.45 AM Departure 11.30 PM)
Your tour will begin at the Hawa Mahal Palace of Wind and followed by the amazing Jantar Mantar-Astronomical Observatory which is to be explored at leisure. Enjoy a one of a kind shopping experience in Jaipur, and proceed to have lunch at Amber Fort. After you have worked up yet another appetite, return back to the train via bus to fresh n’ up and then enjoy sumptuous dinner in one of the best hotels of Jaipur. Afterwards, return to Palace on Wheels.

Day 3 Fri - Sawai Madhopur (Arrival 5.30 AM Departure 10.30 AM)
Enjoy the amazing Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. Other than tigers, you may have opportunity to see 24 different species of mammals and also almost 300 different kinds of birds. Proceed to have lunch on board as it travels the lush green country side before arriving to Chittorgarh.

Friday, Chittorgarh (Arrival 4.00 PM Departure 2.00 AM)
Chittorgarh Fort is considered as the largest fort of India, where the palaces in the fort are considered as master pieces and at one time residences for royalty.

Day 4 Sat – Udaipur (Arrival 8.00 AM Departure 3.30 PM)
Spend the day sight seeing at Udaipur, situated at Lake Pichola. There you will find the seemingly floating Ireland Palace, offering a spectacular view of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Day 5 Sun – Jaisalmer (Arrival 9.15 AM Departure 11.45 PM
Jaisalmer is a picturesque marvel of the beautiful culture of India, offering an ancient history linked with its development as a trading center. There you will find The Sonar Quila Fort, made of yellow sand stone, which will immediately command your attention. Enjoy shopping and lunch at the Moomal Hotel. You will then bask in the romance of solitude at Kuldhara where your camel takes you deep in the desert to await the surreal, priceless experience of the sunset on the rolling golden dunes. Finally, enjoy a cultural performance and then a campfire with dinner in the dunes.

Day 6 Mon- Jodhpur (Arrival 7.00 AM Departure 3.30 PM)
On arrival, receive special welcome and take part in sight seeing of the mighty fort followed by lunch at gorgeous Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is the world’s finest and largest palace in the world. After visiting this amazing creation, proceed to go shopping at some of the local handicraft stores, and after lunch, return to the Palace on Wheels to have dinner on board.

Day 7 Tue – Bharatpur (Arrival 5.00 AM Departure 8.45 AM)
Arrive at the royal kingdom of Bharatpur and learn its honored history. Proceed to The Keoladeo Ghana National Park, one of the finest bird sanctuaries in the world. This is where you will locate three hundred bird species, many of them migrant species that come from parts as distant as Siberia and China. Later, arrive at Agra and visit the world's most well known monument, well worth its fame, The Taj Mahal.

Day 8 Wed – Delhi (Arrival 04.00 hrs)
Arrive at Delhi Safdarjung Railway station. Breakfast on board and let the pleasant memories of the past week linger on your mind for a long, long time. Come back soon for another amazing India travel tour!
