River Cruise Ships

The brand new MS AMALEGRO (2007) and the MS AMADAGIO (2006) are setting new standards in European river cruising and offer a number of features, which no other European river cruise ship can match. These two deluxe ships were designed and built in Holland by Europe's best ship builders and under the watchful eyes of Europe's top Caterers. They truly are remarkable ships and will make your cruise experience unforgettable.

On board the MS AMALEGRO and the MS AMADAGIO you will savor the luxury of more space than on other river cruise ships in Europe. There are 2 lounges located on the Violin Deck, offering fascinating river views. The Panorama Lounge accommodates up to 150 passengers, and the smaller Adagio Lounge in the Aft of the ship, which can also be reserved for group meetings. The wellness areas on both ships have Fitness Center, Massage and Beauty Salon. Elevators on both vessels are operating between 4 different levels: Restaurant (Level 1), Cello Deck Staterooms(Level 2), Lobby and Panorama Lounge (Level 3) and Violin Deck Staterooms (Level 4).

Each ship has 25 bicycles on board for you to explore the small towns and to ride on the many bicycle paths along the various rivers. On the Sun Deck you can enjoy the whirlpool, play a game of shuffle board or giant chess or relax in a lounge chair and admire the passing scenery.

Your exquisitely decorated staterooms offer plush white-on-white bedding, 2 individual beds or one large bed (80”x64”) and ample closet space. Each stateroom is also equipped with a sophisticated Infotainment System with English language TV stations, Internet, movies and music channels, satellite telephone, hair dryer, fluffy bathrobes, safe, and individually controlled A/C system.

All 71 staterooms (170 sq.ft.) and 4 Jr. Suites (255 sq.ft.) have river views and 82% of these feature large French balconies. The 13 staterooms on the Piano Deck have fixed windows.
