Photo Day 1 Thu: Depart North America
Depart this afternoon for Tokyo as you board your flight to experience the Cultural Heritage of Japan.

Day 2 Fri: Arrive Tokyo
Arrive this evening in Tokyo, the capital city of Japan. You will be welcomed and transferred to the TAKANAWA PRINCE HOTEL.

Day 3 Sat: Tokyo
Embark on a half-day city tour of Tokyo, visiting Tokyo Tower and Imperial Palace Plaza. Drive through Akihabara Electric Town and Ueno. Also visit Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Arcade. Drive by Ginza to visit the Tasaki Pearl Gallery. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 4 Sun: Nikko Excursion
Enjoy a full-day excursion to Nikko. Visit the Toshogu Shrine, Irohazaka driveway and, after lunch at a local restaurant, the Kegon Waterfall. Return to Tokyo this evening. (L)

Day 5 Mon: Tokyo / Mt. Fuji / Hakone
Depart Tokyo this morning for Mt. Fuji. Stop at the visitors center before proceeding to the Fifth Station of Mt.Fuji. Following lunch, enjoy a cruise on Lake Ashi and a walk across the Komagatake Ropeway. Continue on to Hakone this evening. HAKONE HOTEL KOWAKIEN (Standard Room) (L)

Day 6 Tue: Hakone / Takayama
This morning, depart Hakone by train for Takayama. Upon arrival, proceed on a walking tour, visiting the festival floats exhibition hall, Kusakabe Folkcraft Museum and Kami Sannomachi Street. HIDA HOTEL PLAZA (Standard Room)

Day 7 Wed: Takayama / Kanazawa
Enjoy a tour by bus, stopping at the morning market in Takayama. Drive to Kanazawa, stopping en route to visit Lake Miboro, the former residence of the Toyama family. Also stop at Shirakawago Gassho Zukuri Minka-en, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience Japanese papermaking at Gokayama. Overnight in Kanazawa at KANAZAWA MIYAKO HOTEL.

Day 8 Thu: Kanazawa / Kyoto
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Kanazawa, visiting Kenroku-en Garden, Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln and Nagamachi Samurai house. Late this afternoon, proceed to Kanazawa station and take the train to Kyoto. Transfer upon arrival to NEW MIYAKO HOTEL.

Day 9 Fri: Kyoto / Tokyo
Spend a full day sightseeing in Kyoto, visiting Nijo Castle (when closed, visit Ryoanji Temple instead), Kinkakuji Temple, Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kyoto Handicraft Center. Following a buffet-style lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center, visit Heian Jingu Shrine, Sanjusangendo Temple, Kiyomizu Temple. Later this evening, board the JR Super Express train to Tokyo Shinagawa Station. Arrive and walk over to TAKANAWA PRINCE HOTEL. (L)

Day 10 Sat: Tokyo / North America
Enjoy a morning at leisure in Tokyo. Transfer to the airport to board your flight home. Arrive home filled with treasured memories of Japan.
