Day
1 Wed: Depart North America
Depart North America on your overnight flight to
Santiago, Chile.
Day 2 Thu: Arrive Santiago
Transfer to the SHERATON SANTIAGO HOTEL. The rest of
the day is at leisure.
Day 3 Fri: Santiago – City Tour
Your tour begins with a drive to San Cristobal Hill
for a panoramic view of the city and the majestic
Andes, followed by a visit to the Pre-Columbian
Museum. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 4 Sat: Santiago – Wine Country, Valparaiso &
Viña Del Mar
Enjoy an excursion to Cousiño Macul Winery, with
wine tasting included. Continue on to the port city
of Valparaiso and the chic resort town of Viña del
Mar, aptly named the “Pearl of the Pacific.” (B)
Day 5 Sun: Santiago / Puerto Montt / Chiloe Island
Depart Santiago by flight for Puerto Montt. Visit
the archeological site of Monteverde. Following
lunch, board a ferry to Chiloe Island, a World
Heritage Site. Upon arrival in Ancud, transfer to
the HOSTERÍA ANCUD. (BL)
Day 6 Mon: Chiloe Island / Puerto Varas
Tour the fishing village of Ancud, where generations
of fisherman still sail in the small, colorful boats
that they have sailed for hundreds of years. Learn
more of the local traditions at a unique handicraft
market. Enjoy lunch at a
local restaurant. Later, board a ferry to Puerto
Montt and then transfer directly to Puerto Varas, a
pretty lakeside town renowned for its handicrafts.

Day 7 Tue: Puerto Varas – Vicente Perez Rosales
National Park
Enjoy a full-day excursion to Vicente Perez Rosales
National Park, including a soft hike to Petrohue
Falls. Stroll through an ancient coigue forest to
the Green Lagoon. A walk around the base of Osorno
Volcano offers wonderful
views of the Petrohue Valley, the Andes and Calbuco,
a nearby volcano. (BL)
Day 8 Wed: Puerto Varas / Puerto Natales
Depart to Puerto Montt for your flight to Punta
Arenas. Transfer upon arrival to Puerto Natales, the
gateway to Patagonia, situated against a backdrop of

Day 9 Thu: Puerto Natales – Serrano Glacier
Enjoy a cruise through Last Hope and Esperanza
Sounds to the Serrano and Balmadeda Glaciers. At the
foot of Serrano Glacier, walk through native forests
to the base of the massive ice walls. Enjoy lunch at
Perales Farm. Stop
at a sea lion colony on the return. (BL)
Day 10 Fri: Puerto Natales – Torres National Park
This 450,000 acre national park has been declared a
biosphere reserve by UNESCO. Spend the day exploring
the forest and enjoying views of the majestic
glaciated peaks that surround the park. Striking
rivers and blue lakes
enhance the remarkable setting. (B)
Day 11 Sat: Puerto Natales / Depart Santiago
Fly back to Santiago to connect with your overnight
flight home. (B)
Day 12 Sun: Arrive North America
Return home, eager to share your experience with
family and friends.
