Day 1: Arrive Buenos Aires
Arrive in Buenos Aires this afternoon. Upon
arrival, you will be met and transferred to your
hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2 : Buenos Aires - City Tour
Your guided sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires
includes a stop at the Plaza de Mayo, where you will
find the pink-colored Casa Rosada. See the balcony
where Eva Peron and her husband addressed the crowds
below. Next, see the Cabildo (town hall) and
Metropolitan Cathedral before heading to the
districts of San Telmo and La Boca. You will also
visit the cemetery of Recoleta, which is the burial
site of Eva Peron. Continue along Avenida 9 de
Julio, the
widest avenue in the world. Finally, stop at Palermo
before returning to your hotel. This evening, enjoy
dinner at one of Buenos Aires' excellent
restaurants. Experience Argentina's sensual music,
dance and culture during a full

Day 3: Buenos Aires - Estancia
Venture out of the city today on a full-day
visit to a historic, working estancia in the
Argentine pampas-the Great Plains that sweep through
hundreds of miles of the country's heartland. Savor
an asado barbecue lunch cooked
over an open fire and witness traditional gaucho
riding skills, music and the romantic rural way of
Argentine life. (BL)
Day 4: Buenos Aires / Mendoza
Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for
your flight to Mendoza. Upon arrival, you are met
and transferred to your hotel. Most of the vineyards
and wine industries are located in Mendoza province.
Mendoza is the principle producing province with
143,764 hectares and produces between 70% and 75% of
the national wine. Overnight in Mendoza. (B)
Day 5: Full Day Excursion to Maipu Wineries
Following breakfast, embark on your full day tour of
Maipu Valley. Part of the Mendoza River high
region(also known as the Central Valley), Maipú
comprises a high concentration of bodegas that are
known for producing some of Argentina's finest
Malbecs from the region's oldest vines. A
thirty-minute drive southeast of Mendoza's city
center, Maipú is also a good place to sample other
red varietals (including Cabernet Sauvignon,
Tempranillo and Syrah) in addition to Chardonnay,
Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin, Torrontes and Viognier. You
will have free time to taste and buy different types
of wine at bodegas. (BL)
Day 6: Full Day Excursion to Lujan Wineries
Proceed this morning to Lujan wineries. Luján de
Cuyo is a part of the Mendoza River high region
(along with Maipú). The majority of the vineyards in
Luján de Cuyo are planted with red varietals, with
the highlight being Malbec. Considered by many
winemakers as the viticulture 'Promised Land,' Luján
de Cuyo was the first region to institute the AOC
(Appellation d'Origine Controlée) for Argentine
Malbec. Approximately 40 minutes southwest of the
city of Mendoza, many Argentine wine experts regard
Luján de Cuyo as the birthplace of the movement that
catapulted Argentine wines from the common table to
the international stage. You will have a free time
to taste and buy different types of wine at bodegas.

Day 7: Mendoza Tour / Club Tapiz
Enjoy morning tour of Mendoza. We will begin the
tour with the Old City, the site where the city was
founded. We will pass by the tree-lined avenues, the
Microcentre, the Civic District, and then the Parque
General San Martín Park with the Cerro de la Gloria
Glory. Afternoon transfer to Club Tapiz for the
overnight. Enjoy the experience of typical wine
environment. Club Tapiz is located in an estate
built in 1890 and surrounded by 10 hectares of
vineyards. The house was restored preserving its
Renaissance-style villa structure and maintaining
vintage elements, such as the patio and pinewood
floors, the connection with its surroundings and
enthralling views of the Andean Range. (B)
Day 8: Depart Mendoza / Home
Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for
your flight back home.
