Day 1 Sun: Arrive Melbourne
On Arrival in Melbourne you will be transferred to your hotel, the PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL SUITES. Meet your Tour Director this afternoon and discover the sights of the city. Enjoy the Royal Botanic Gardens, Parliament House and War Memorial’s Shrine of Remembrance. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your Tour Director and fellow travellers. (D)

Day 2 Mon: Melbourne ‘Free Time’
Two full days to explore Melbourne. Perhaps join an optional tour to meet the Little Penguins on Phillip Island or sample some local grown wines in the Yarra Valley. Overnight at the PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL SUITES. B

Day 3 Tue: Melbourne ‘Free Time’
Why not take a day trip along the spectacular Great Ocean Road to see the Twelve Apostles. Overnight at the PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL SUITES. (B)

Day 4 Wed: Melbourne – Alice Springs
Depart Melbourne this morning and fly to the Red Centre. Enjoy a city tour of Alice Springs, including a visit to the Telegraph Station. Learn how the locals live in this remote area and the history of the early settlers. A visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Service will show you how medical services are provided to those people living in remote areas. See panoramic views from Anzac Hill. Overnight at the ALL SEASONS OASIS. (B)

Day 5 Thu: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Say goodbye to Alice and journey to the heart of Australia, Uluru. On the way visit a camel farm, the original transportation of the desert. Enjoy the changing colours of Uluru with a complimentary glass of wine as the sun sets. Overnight at the OUTBACK PIONEER HOTEL. (B)

Day 6 Fri: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
Rise early to see the sunrise at Uluru. Tour the caves at the base and hear the traditional dreamtime stories before having time to discover the cultural centre. This afternoon travel through the desert plains to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). There is time to walk through Walpa Gorge. After sunset with complimentary wine, enjoy a delicious Australian barbecue dinner and stargazing. Overnight at the OUTBACK PIONEER HOTEL. (B HD)

Day 7 Sat: Arrive Cairns
Transfer to Ayers Rock Airport to board your flight to Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy this tropical town this afternoon. Maybe visit the Cairns Wildlife Dome for an encounter with the unique Australian animals. Overnight at the MANTRA ESPLANADE. (B)

Day 8 Sun: Great Barrier Reef
Cruise with Sunlover Cruises to the outer Barrier Reef. See coral and tropical fish from a semi submersible vessel or snorkel along the reef with the fish. Snorkelling gear is available as well as a marine biologist to enhance your reef experience. Enjoy a buffet lunch on board the pontoon. Overnight at the MANTRA ESPLANADE. (B L)

Day 9 Mon: Cairns ‘Free Time’
A day at leisure in Cairns. Discover the rainforest of Kuranda or visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. Overnight at the MANTRA ESPLANADE. (B)

Day 10 Tue: Cairns - Sydney
You will be transferred to Cairns Airport for your flight to Sydney. You are free to discover Sydney’s vibrant restaurant scene for dinner. Overnight at THE VIBE. (B)

Day 11 Wed: City – Harbour Cruise
This morning discover all that Sydney has to offer. A tour of the world famous Opera House and a chance to walk on the sand at Bondi Beach is included. Visit Mrs. Macquarie’s chair for spectacular views of the harbour. Enjoy a harbour highlights cruise. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about Australia’s national gemstone – the opal. Overnight at THE VIBE. (B)

Day 12 Thu: Sydney ‘Free Time’
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Sydney. Overnight at THE VIBE. (B)

Day 13 Fri: Sydney - Christchurch
Farewell to Australia and Kia Ora to New Zealand. Meet your new Tour Director upon arrival in the southern capital, Christchurch. Enjoy a city sights tour including Hagley Park, Avon River, Canterbury Museum and Christchurch Cathedral. This evening is free for you to explore the local restaurants and cafés. Overnight at the COPTHORNE CENTRAL. (B)

Day 14 Sat: Christchurch ‘Free Time’
A full day at leisure to discover this city for yourself. To assist you we’ll provide you with a tram ticket to make it easier to get around. Overnight at the COPTHORNE CENTRAL. (B)

Day 15 Sun: Queenstown
Travel south across the Canterbury Plains enjoying the alpine scenery. This morning we visit MacKenzie Country with its tussock grasslands and lupins. Stop to view the Church of the Good Shepard at Lake Tekapo and perhaps take a scenic flight (weather permitting) over Mt. Cook, the highest mountain in the Southern Hemisphere. Later we pass Lake Pukaki and Rua Taniwha before travelling over the Lindis Pass to the Otago region. We stop briefly to sample stone fruit in Cromwell before travelling through the Kawarau Gorge and to Queenstown. Overnight at the COPTHORNE LAKEFRONT RESORT. (B)

Day 16 Mon: Queenstown ‘Free Time’
Today you have the option to travel to Milford Sound, considered the eighth wonder of the world! Stop and explore the small township of Te Anau before entering the Fiordland National Park, a World Heritage Park. Travel through the Homer Tunnel to discover the magic that is Milford Sound. Overnight at the COPTHORNE LAKEFRONT RESORT. (B)

Day 17 Tue: Maori Culture
Today is at leisure to discover some of Queenstown’s famous wines or maybe the adventure activities call. Tonight experience a traditional Maori Hangi and Kiwi Haka concert at the Skyline Restaurant on Bob’s Peak. We ride the steepest gondola in the Southern Hemisphere and enjoy an entertaining night of song and dance! Overnight at the COPTHORNE LAKEFRONT RESORT. (B HD)

Day 18 Wed: Auckland
This morning fly to the North Island and discover the City of Sails, Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. Upon arrival, we enjoy a City Sights tour, taking in views from Mt Eden and Bastian Point. Overnight at the MERCURE HOTEL. (B)

Day 19 Thu: Auckland ‘Free Time’
Spend the final day of your holiday discovering Auckland for yourself. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your new-found friends. Overnight at the MERCURE HOTEL. (B D)

Day 20 Fri: Depart Auckland
