10 DAYS Delhi, Jaipur. Fatehpur Sikri, Agra, Khajuraho, Varanasi, Kathmandu, Patan Bhadgoan.

Day 1 Sat: Arrive Delhi
Today arrive in India’s capital city of Delhi. You are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome and escorted to the TAJ PALACE HOTEL (Deluxe Room).

Day 2 Sun: Old Delhi Sightseeing
After a leisurely morning, tour of Old Delhi includes the Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. This evening, enjoy a home hosted dinner with an Indian family. (BD)

Day 3 Mon: New Delhi Sightseeing / Jaipur
Morning embark on a tour of New Delhi. Drive along Rajpath, the capital’s broadest avenue to view the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. Afternoon drive to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Check in at JAI MAHAL PALACE HOTEL (Luxury Room). (BD)

Day 4 Tue: Amber Fort Excursion & Jaipur Sightseeing
This morning ascend the mountain fortress of Amber, riding atop decorated and painted elephants. Enjoy an afternoon tour of Jaipur City as you visit the Hawa Mahal, City Palace and the ancient observatory. (BD)

Day 5 Wed: Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra
This morning drive to Agra, en route, visiting the abandoned ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri. In Agra, visit the 16th century Agra Fort and enjoy the magnificent Taj Mahal in the warm glow of sunset. THE GATEWAY HOTEL. (Superior). (BD)

Day 6 Thu: Agra / Khajuraho
This morning experience the train ride to Jhansi. Continue by road to Khajuraho, en route visiting Orcha, a medieval city frozen in time and space, existing to this day, as it must have in the 17th century. TAJ CHANDELA HOTEL (Superior). (BD)

Day 7 Fri: Khajuraho / Varanasi
Visit the Western & Eastern group of Temples before flying to Varanasi (Benares), India’s holiest city. Visit the stupas, ruins at Sarnath, scene of Buddha’s first sermon. This evening meet with an expert astrologer who will read your palm, if you so desire. THE GATEWAY HOTEL GANGES. (BD)

Day 8 Sat: Varanasi / Kathmandu
Enjoy the sunrise during an early morning boat ride on the Ganges, followed by a walking tour of the old city. Fly to Kathmandu, capital of Nepal. This afternoon visit Durbar Square, Temple of the Living Goddess and Swayambhunath. ANNAPURNA HOTEL. (BD)

Day 9 Sun: Patan & Bhadgaon Excursion
Today, tour the charming town of Bhaktapur, Pashupathinath and Bodhnath, followed by an afternoon tour of Patan and the Tibetan handicrafts center. This evening enjoy a presentation of Nepalese folk dances. (BD)

Day 10 Mon: Depart Kathmandu/Delhi
Today fly to Delhi. West Coast passengers will be transferred back to the airport after dinner for flight back home. East Coast passengers will be provided room till departure flight. (BD)
