Day 1 – Sat/Tue/Thu: NYC/BOS/CHI/LAX/SFO to London
Depart from your USA Gateway on board Virgin Atlantic Airways.
Day 2 – Sun/Wed/Fri: London / Nairobi
Arrive in London and connect with the onward Kenya Airways flight to Nairobi.
Day 3 – Mon/Thu/Sat: Nairobi
Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi you will be met and assisted by a SITA representative for transfer to your hotel where you will be assisted with the check in formalities. Overnight at the Safari Park Hotel (BB)
Day 4 – Tue/Fri/Sun: Masai Mara National Game Reserve
After breakfast and check out of the hotel you will be collected for the day’s drive westwards, down the scenic Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at the Mara Sopa Lodge (LDBB)
Day 5 – Wed/Sat/Mon: Masai Mara National Game Reserve
Breakfast at the lodge followed by morning and afternoon game drives. This is your full day to explore the Mara, a ravishingly beautiful place that also offers long, undisturbed views and utterly dramatic panoramas. Lunch, dinner and overnight will be at the Mara Sopa Lodge (LDBB)
Day 6 – Thu/Sun/Tue Lake Nakuru National Park / Lake Naivasha
Drive out of the Masai Mara after breakfast and head to the Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrival at Nakuru will be in time for lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Afternoon game drives before driving out to the nearby Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight at the Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge (LDBB)
Day 7 – Fri/Mon/Wed Amboseli National Park
Today will be will be collected after breakfast for a drive via the city of Nairobi where you will have a lunch stopover at the Intercontinental Hotel. Afterwards you will drive on to the Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge (L-DBB)
Day 8 – Sat/Tue/Thu: Amboseli National Park
Breakfast before a day for you to spend in the Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch, Dinner and overnight will be at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge (L-DBB)
Day 9 – Sun/Wed/Fri: Amboseli National Park / Lake Manyara (Tanzania)
After breakfast at your lodge you will be collected for a drive to the border town of Namanga where you will undergo customs and immigration formalities. Proceed in Tanzanian vehicles to Arusha town where you will stop over for a lunch break. Travel to Lake Manyara National Park. Overnight at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. (L-DBB)
Day 10 – Mon/Thu/Sat: Lake Manyara / Serengeti National Park
After a morning game drive, continue to the Serengeti. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Return for dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge (LDBB)
Day 11 – Tue/Fri/Sun: Serengeti National Park
Spend the day in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch and overnight will be at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge (LDBB)
Day 12 – Wed/Sat/Mon: Serengeti National Park/ Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today, drive to Ngorongoro via the Olduvai Gorge site of archaological findings. Dinner and overnight will be at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (L-DBB)
Day 13 – Thu/Sun/Tue: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast leave for a tour of the crater floor, quite possibly the most famous of all Africa’s conservation areas. Later you will return to the lodge for lunch and an evening at leisure before dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (L-DBB)
Day 14 – Fri/Mon/Wed: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your lodge you will leave for Tarangire Afternoon game drive in the park and later proceed for dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge (L-DBB)
Day 15 – Sat/Tue/Thu: Tarangire National Park / Arusha / Nairobi / London
After breakfast you will drive out of Tarangire to Arusha where you will arrive in time for lunch at the Cultural Heritage Center. Thereafter you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward Kenya Airways flight.to London via Nairobi. (L)
Day 16 – Sun/Wed/Fri: London / USA
Arrive in London this morning and connect with your onward Virgin Atlantic Airlines flight to your USA gateway city.
