Your journey begins as you board your flight to South Africa.

Day 2 Sun: Cape Town
Upon arrival, you are met and escorted to the CAPE CADAGON BOUTIQUE HOTEL. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 3 Mon: Cape Peninsula
Today you will tour the Cape Peninsula. Travel along the scenic Atlantic coastline past Hout Bay and over Constantia Neck to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Also visit Cape Point. Return to Cape Town, traveling along False Bay stopping en route at Boulders Beach (penguin colony). (B)

Day 4 Tue: Cape Winelands
Enjoy a full-day tour to the Cape Winelands. Travel to Paarl in the heart of the Winelands for a cellar tour and wine tasting.  Also enjoy walks through Paarl and Stellenbosch. (B)

Day 5 Wed: Cape Town / Oudtshoorn
In the morning, depart Cape Town and travel via Montagu and the “Klein Karoo” to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world. Visit the vast limestone caverns of the Cango Caves and an Ostrich show farm for a guided tour. PROTEA KING GEORGE (B)

Day 6 Thu: Oudtshoorn / Garden Route to Knysna
Proceed to George via the Outeniqua Pass. Continue to Knysna to enjoy the shops and atmosphere of this lovely town. VILLA CASTOLLINI (B)

Day 7 Fri: Garden Route – Knysna
Enjoy a morning lagoon cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve. Take a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head and walk back through the milkwood trees. Afternoon at leisure in Knysna. (BL)

Day 8 Sat: Garden Route / Port Elizabeth
Travel via Tsitsikamma Forest to Port Elizabeth. PAXTON HOTEL (B)

Day 9 Sun: Port Elizabeth / Johannesburg / Sabi Sands Game Reserve
Fly via Johannesburg to LION SANDS RIVER LODGE, a private lodge bordering Kruger National Park, South Africa’s largest game reserve. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. (BLD)

Day 10 & 11 Mon & Tue: Sabi Sands Game Reserve
Take morning and afternoon game drives in open 4WD vehicles. Other activities offered include bush walks, bird watching, hides and river fishing. (BLD)

Day 12 Wed: Sabi Sands / Johannesburg / Depart
After the morning game activity and a leisurely breakfast, fly to Johannesburg. Connect with your homeward flight or extend your stay in Victoria Falls, The Palace of the Lost City or on a relaxing beach in Mozambique. (B)

Day 13 Thu: Arrive North America
Arrive home eager to share the excitement of your African safari.
