KENYA

Day 1 Tue: Arrive Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi, where you are escorted to your luxurious accommodations at NAIROBI SERENA HOTEL.

Day 2 Wed: Nairobi / Masai Mara Game Reserve
Fly across the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve, the highlight of any East African safari. Afternoon game drive. MARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE (BLD)

Day 3 Thu: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, widely considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. A balloon safari is also available (additional cost). (BLD)

Day 4 Fri: Masai Mara / Amboseli
After the morning game drive, fly to Nairobi. After lunch, drive to Amboseli National Park. Game drive en route to your lodge, framed against the glorious backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, the magnificently beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro. AMBOSELI SERENA LODGE (BLD)

Day 5 Sat: Amboseli National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives. Vast herds of elephant roam the reserve, accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts - lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippo and wildebeest to name but a few. (BLD)

TANZANIA

Day 6 Sun: Amboseli / Lake Manyara
Travel across the Tanzanian border to Lake Manyara National Park, and the LAKE MANYARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE, which is located on the edge of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. (BLD)

Day 7 Mon: Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Large buffalo, wildebeest and zebra herds congregate on the grassy plains, as do giraffes, some of which are so dark in coloration that they appear to be black from a distance. (BLD)

Day 8 Tue: Lake Manyara / Ngorongoro Crater
Ascend through the highlands to the very rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. From there, descend into the crater for game viewing. Vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, buffalo and their predators—the big cats—roam the crater floor. Situated on the crater’s rim, NGORONGORO SERENA SAFARI LODGE offers a magnificent view of the crater below. (BLD)

Day 9 Wed: Ngorongoro – Olduvai - Gorge – Serengeti National Park
Visit Olduvai Gorge, an archeological site extensively excavated by the Leakeys. Continue to Serengeti National Park, where huge herds of wildebeest, antelope and zebra provide an unequalled wildlife spectacle. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. SERENGETI SERENA SAFARI LODGE (BLD)

Day 10 Thu: Serengeti National Park
Take morning and afternoon game drives along the river and out on the plains among the vast herds of migratory animals. A balloon safari is also available (additional cost). (BLD)

Day 11 Fri: Serengeti National Park / Depart Kilimanjaro
This will be your final opportunity to bask in the unmatched grandeur of the African safari lands, before you fly to Arusha for lunch. Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight. (BL)
