Tours Overview:
A pristine geologic wonderland, Bolivia boasts a vast diversity of climates, cultures and traditions. Colorful markets, beautiful vistas, a rich history and a visit to The Island of the Moon, the second most sacred place in Andean lore, make for a unique travel destination.

Day 1 - Arrive La Paz
You will be welcomed upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2 – La Paz
A 4 hour tour of La Paz, including the local markets. Visit the colonial town, San Francisco Church, Gold Museum, Murillo Square and the outdoor replica of the Tiahuanaco temple. Later visit the modern part of this town visiting Valley of the Moon where you will enjoy its natural geological formations. (B)

Day 3 - La Paz: Lake Titicaca; Copacabana and hike to Sun Island
Today travel from La Paz to Copacabana (3 – 4 hours). Enjoy a boat ride to the Island of the Sun (1 hour). Disembark near Pilkokaina ruins and enjoy a typical aptapi followed by a hike for about an hour to your lodge. (BLD)

Day 4 - Sun Island: La Chinkana, Moon Island, Copacabana, La Paz
Enjoy an early sunrise visit. Boat ride north to the Chincana ruins and the Sacred Rock. Visit Island of the Moon and its Iñak Uyu ruins before reaching Copacabana. Visit the famous Virgen Morena and its church. Lunch at a local restaurant with free time in the town. Travel to La Paz and overnight at the hotel. (BL)

Day 5 - Depart La Paz
The day is at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your departing flight. (B)
