Day 1: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) - Uluru (Ayers
Rock)
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport we transfer you to
your hotel (flight into Ayers Rock Airport prior to
1.00pm). This afternoon explore Walpa Gorge at Kata
Tjuta, then travel to the sunset viewing area to
enjoy nibbles and a glass of wine while watching the
sunset at Uluru. Overnight at the OUTBACK PIONEER
BUDGET ROOMS (Lodge), OUTBACK PIONEER HOTEL
(Standard), DESERT GARDENS HOTEL (Superior) or SAILS
IN THE DESERT HOTEL (First Class).
Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Tour
(Y18) or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and
Guided Cultural Base Walk (Y41). Both tours include
sunrise at Uluru, a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and
the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. The first
option allows time for climbing, whilst the second
option includes a longer guided walk at the base of
Uluru. You may have time for an optional scenic
flight (own expense). In the afternoon you will
return to Ayers Rock Resort.
