Day 1: Alice Springs – Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Travel through the West MacDonnell and James Ranges. Stop at a camel farm for an optional camel ride (own expense) and later stop to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner), before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. This afternoon, tour to Kata Tjuta and marvel at the size of its 36 domes. Walk into Walpa Gorge before travelling to the sunset viewing area to enjoy nibbles and a glass of wine whilst watching the colourful effect of the setting sun on Uluru. Overnight at the OUTBACK PIONEER BUDGET ROOMS (Lodge), OUTBACK PIONEER HOTEL (Standard), DESERT GARDENS HOTEL (Superior) or SAILS IN THE DESER HOTEL (First Class).

On Day 1 there is the option to upgrade from the afternoon Kata Tjuta and Uluru Sunset Tour (Y13) to the Kata Tjuta Valley of the Winds Walk, Sunset and Barbecue Dinner Tour (Y14), at an extra cost.

Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Alice Springs
This morning there is the option to do the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour (Y18) or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Base Walk (Y41). Both tours include a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. In the afternoon depart for Alice Springs.
