Day 1: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
On arrival in Ayers Rock Resort you will be transferred to your hotel. Late afternoon, travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Enjoy nibbles and a glass of wine as the sun sets over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour that Uluru is famous for. Occasionally, when it rains, you may be lucky enough to see the spectacular sight of water cascading over the sides of Uluru. Return to Ayers Rock Resort. Overnight at the OUTBACK PIONEER BUDGET ROOMS (Lodge), OUTBACK PIONEER HOTEL (Standard), DESERT GARDENS HOTEL (Superior) or SAILS IN THE DESERT HOTEL (First Class).

Day 2: Sounds of Silence Dinner
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour (Y18) or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk (Y41). Both tours include watching sunrise at Uluru and a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. The first option allows time for climbing, whilst the second option includes a longer guided walk at the base of Uluru. Time is also available for an optional scenic flight (own expense). In the evening dine under a million stars at the award-winning Sounds of Silence Dinner. Enjoy a gourmet buffet of Australian delicacies accompanied by fine Australian wines, then sit back and relax as an astronomer takes you on a tour of the southern night skies (conditions permitting). Overnight at the OUTBACK PIONEER BUDGET ROOMS (Lodge), OUTBACK PIONEER HOTEL (Standard), DESERT GARDENS HOTEL (Superior) or SAILS IN THE DESERT HOTEL (First Class). (D)

Day 3: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Witness the early morning light as you travel to Kata Tjuta. On the way your Driver/Guide will explain the geological history of the giant domes. At Kata Tjuta your Driver/Guide will escort you on a 2-3 hour walk between the valleys of conglomerate rock. The walking path is rocky, and requires a good level of fitness. Admire the native flora and fauna in the cool morning air. At the Valley of the Winds lookout there is time to photograph and enjoy the view over the central valley of Kata Tjuta. This afternoon you will return to Ayers Rock Resort.
