Day 1: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) - Uluru (Ayers Rock)
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport (flight to arrive prior to 1.00pm) you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is spent touring Kata Tjuta, including a walk at Walpa Gorge. Travel to the sunset viewing area to enjoy nibbles and a glass of wine and watch the effect of the setting sun on the colour of Uluru. Don't forget your camera! Overnight at the OUTBACK PIONEER BUDGET ROOMS (Budget), OUTBACK PIONEER HOTEL (Standard), DESERT GARDENS HOTEL (Superior) or SAILS IN THE DESERT HOTEL (First Class).

Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock) - Kings Canyon
View sunrise at Uluru. You'll have an opportunity to climb to the top (optional) and tour the base. This afternoon travel to Kings Canyon Resort. Overnight at KINGS CANYON RESORT (Budget, Standard, Superior or First Class).

Day 3: Kings Canyon
This morning join your guide for the rocky climb to the canyon rim for superb views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness; supportive footwear is essential). Alternatively explore the canyon floor (an easier, shady walk). Return to Ayers Rock at 4.30pm or travel on to Alice Springs, arriving at approximately 6.30pm.
