Day 1: Arrive Singapore
Arrive in Singapore this afternoon. You are
welcomed at the airport and escorted to your hotel.
The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. ORCHARD

Day 2: Singapore Sightseeing
Your tour of Singapore starts with a visit to
the botanical gardens and colorful Chinatown,
followed by a visit to the visually imposing façade
of Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple. Then, ascend Mt.
Faber and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the
city and busy harbor. Enjoy a Dim Sum lunch in
Chinatown before returning to your hotel. The
afternoon is at leisure. (BL)
Day 3: Night Safari
The day is free for you to relax and pursue
independent activities. In the evening you will
visit the world’s first and only night zoo, which
houses more than 1,200 animals and 110 exotic
species. You will have the opportunity to strike out
on your own along the walking trail or relax on a
tram ride. The Night Safari is a wild adventure not
to be missed. (B)
Day 4: Singapore / Malaysia – Malacca
Travel this morning to Johor Bahru, the
southernmost state of Malaysia. In Malacca, visit
St. Paul’s Hill, Porta De Santiago, Cheng Hoon Teng
Temple and Jonkers Street, which is popular for its
antiques and local arts and crafts. Also visit the
Baba Nyonya Museum, which offers an interesting
insight into the lifestyle and traditions of the

Day 5: Malacca / Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing
Proceed this morning to Kuala Lumpur, the
capital city of Malaysia. Your tour of this city of
charming contrast will cover the sights of the
National Monument—which was sculpted by the creator
of the Iwo Jima monument in Washington, DC—Sultan
Abdul Samad Building, the Selangor Club and the

Day 6: Kuala Lumpur - Batu Caves Excursion
Drive this morning to the Batu Caves, which are
reached by a straight flight of 272 steps to the
entrance known as the Cathedral Cave. In some of
today’s stops you will have the opportunity to see
how Malaysia handicrafts and pewter wares are made.

Day 7: Kuala Lumpur / Pangkor
Fly this morning to Lumut and take a ferry to
Pangkor, one of Malaysia’s few remaining unspoiled

Day 8: Pangkor Laut
The day is free so you can relax and pursue
independent activities. (B)
Day 9: Pangkor - Penang
Depart Pangkor by boat and then travel overland
to Penang. Visit Orangutan Island at Bukit Merah
Laketown. The unique setup of the island provides
you with the opportunity to see the “Wild Men of
Borneo” up close. Cross the Penang Bridge, the
longest bridge in Asia and the third longest in the

Day 10: Penang Sightseeing
Today you will explore Penang, which is known as
the “Pearl of the Orient” and is the oldest British
settlement in Malaysia. Visit the Khoo Kongsi
(Dragon Mountain Hall) clan house, with its ancient
design that was constructed to capture the splendor
of an imperial palace. Also visit historical Fort
Cornwallis and the Thai temple of Wat
Chayamangkalaram, which houses a 105-foot reclining

Day 11: Depart Penang/Home
Transfer to Penang airport for your flight home.
