Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi this evening. You are met upon
arrival and escorted to your hotel
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Embark on your tour of Old and New Delhi. Your visit
to Old Delhi covers Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Ashoka
Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. In
the afternoon tour New Delhi, driving along Rajpath
to view the Parliament House, the President’s House
and India Gate. Also visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab
Minar and Birla Temple. (B)
Day 3: Delhi / Agra
Drive to Agra, en route at Sikandra. In Agra, visit
the Agra Fort followed by a visit to the Taj Mahal
for a sunset view. (B)
Day 4: Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur, en route at the abandoned city of
Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece of Muslim and Hindu
architecture. Continue overland to Jaipur, the
capital city of Rajasthan. Check in at your hotel.

Day 5: Amber Fort Excursion & Jaipur Sightseeing
In the morning, visit the mountain fortress of
Amber, riding atop daintily painted and decorated
elephants. Later, enjoy a tour of Jaipur City, and
visit Hawa Mahal, City Palace and the ancient
observatory. (B)
Day 6: Jaipur / Jodhpur
Morning is at leisure. In the afternoon depart by
train to Jodhpur. Upon arrival you are met and
transferred to your hotel. (B)
Day 7: Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur
Visit the invincible Mehrangarh Fort and the Jaswant
Thada, a graceful marble cenotaph built in 1899.
Depart for Udaipur, stopping en route to tour the
beautifully sculpted 15th century Jain temples of
Ranakpur. Continue your journey, stopping for lunch
at Maharani Bagh—a mango grove and private gardens
of the Maharajah of Jodhpur. Arrive in Udaipur and
check into your hotel. (B)
Day 8: Udaipur Sightseeing:
Tour this famous “City of Lakes.” Visit City Palace
with its scalloped arches, fretted balconies and
cupolas, Saheliyon ki Bari Garden and the folklore
museum where you can see a presentation of the
string puppets typical to this area. (B)
Day 9: Udaipur / Mumbai (Bombay)
This morning fly to Mumbai (formerly Bombay),
India’s most cosmopolitan city. Upon arrival in
Mumbai proceed for a tour of Mumbai, which includes
the British-built arch “Gateway of India,” the
Hanging Gardens and Malabar Hills where Mumbai’s
rich and famous live, the Prince of Wales Museum,
Dhobi Ghat, Marine Drive, the Gandhi Memorial Museum
and Jain Temple. Check in at the hotel where you
have a day room for wash and change. Later in the
evening bid farewell to India, and depart on your
international flight. (B)
