Victoria Falls also known as "Mosi oa-Tunya" ("the smoke that thunders") is the world’s biggest curtain of falling water and one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Because it has engendered human awe for thousands of years it is a site of fascinating history as well as historical mysteries.
Victoria Falls is a spectacular sight of aweinspiring beauty and grandeur located on the Zambezi River. Livingstone is the Zambian point of access to the Victoria Falls, and Victoria Falls, the Zimbabwe side. There are many optional activities offered, from the relaxing pleasure of a sundowner cruise to the excitement of an elephant back safaris. You
can enjoy a scenic flight over the falls, visit a local village, canoe and fish on the Zambezi River. Game drives are also on offer in the nearby Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park or to Botswana’s Chobe National Park. For the adrenaline seekers, there’s a zip line, gorge swing, abseiling, white water rafting, jet boating and bungee jumping.
Day 1 – Arrive Victoria Falls or Livingstone
Arrive either to Livingstone, Zambia or Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe where you are met and escorted to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River.
Day 2 – Victoria Falls or Livingstone
Tour the falls with its vast curtain of water that is nearly a mile wide and 355 feet high. You may choose to visit both sides of the Falls (additional cost). The afternoon is at leisure for optional activities. (B)
Day 3 – Depart Victoria Falls or Livingstone
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
Please Note: The Falls on the Zambian side may dry out seasonally (Sep – Dec). During this time we recommend you view the Falls on the Zimbabwean side.
