Victoria Falls is a spectacular sight of
awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur located on the
Zambezi River and bordered by both Zambia and
Zimbabwe. Livingstone is the Zambian point of access
to Victoria Falls. First sighted by Dr David
Livingstone some 150 years ago, views of the
Victoria Falls from Zambia are dramatic, whether
seen from Knife Edge Point or from the base of the
Falls at the end of a steep track leading down to
the gorge. Besides the relaxing pleasure of a
sundowner cruise, elephant back safaris, fishing or
viewing game in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park,
adrenaline seekers can go abseiling, jet boating,
white water rafting or bungee jumping.
