Day 1: Arrive Tunis
Arrive in the capital city of Tunis and transfer to TUNISIA PALACE. (D)

Day 2: Tunis / Carthage / Sidi Bou Said / Hammamet
Visit the Bardo Museum, famous for its impressive and fine collections of mosaics. During a walking tour of Tunis, visit the old Medina, with its famous Ezzitouna Mosque and bustling souks. After lunch, visit ancient Carthage, with its splendid Antonine Spas, Amphitheatre, Punic Port and Roman villas. Continue to Sidi Bou Said, a splendid Moorish village, perched on the headland and wreathed in flowers, where you can enjoy a unique peppermint tea. Continue to Hammamet and overnight at MEHARI HAMMAMET HOTEL. (BLD)

Day 3: Hammamet / Kairouan / Tozeur
Depart for Kairouan to visit the Great Mosque, one of the most beautiful monuments in the Moslem world. Continue on to visit the Aghlabite pools and the Mausoleum of Sidi Sahbi. After some free time to stroll around the souks of the Medina and have lunch, continue to Tozeur. HOTEL RAS EL AIN (BLD)

Day 4: Tozeur / Metlaoui / Mides / Chebika / Tozeur
Depart for a full day of rally driving and discovery by 4WD vehicle. Travel to Metlaoui to board the Red Lizard train, which takes you through the amazing scenery of the mountain oases and Seldja Gorges. Disembark and continue your drive to see the fantastic canyons and deserted village of Mides. After lunch and time for relaxing at the Tamerza Palace Hotel, continue to Chebika before returning to Tozeur for the night. (BLD)


Day 5: Tozeur / Chott El Jerid / Douz
Tour the mythical town of Tozeur. Visit the picturesque palm grove of Belvedere, followed by a walk in the Old Medina, famous for its attractive architecture and brick houses. After a visit to Dar Chraiet Museum, depart for Chott El Jerid salt lake. After lunch at your hotel in Douz, travel to Nefzaoua and the oases of Sabria, Noail and Zaafrane, which form a magical triangle covered with a fine dust of sand. SUN PALM HOTEL (BLD)

Day 6: Douz / Matmata / Djerba
Depart for Matmata, the star of the Tunisian south. Visit its unique underground Troglodyte dwellings used by Steven Spielberg to great effect in his famous films Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Visit the famous troglodyte houses, carved into the rock surface. Depart for the charming Island of Djerba. Visit Guellela, the picturesque village of potters, and Houmt Souk, famous for unique artisan products, such as cloth, blankets and silver jewelry. Day 7: Djerba / Gabès / El Jem / Hammamet
Travel to Gabès, the only seaside oasis in the world. Visit the ancient town and its typical spice market. En route to Hammamet, stop at El Jem to visit the Coliseum. HOTEL MEHARI HAMMAMET (BLD)

Day 8: Hammamet / Tunis
Transfer to the Tunis airport for your departure flight, or perhaps continue to Malta. (B)
