1 Thu: Depart North America
Your journey begins as you board your flight to
Europe.
Day 2 Fri: In transit
Arrive Europe and connect onto your flight/s to
Tanzania.
Day 3 Sat: Arrive Kilimanjaro
Upon arrival, you will be met and escorted to your
lodge at Lake Duluti, near Arusha. SERENA MOUNTAIN

Day 4 Sun: Arusha / Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire National Park, where you will
enjoy afternoon game viewing. TARANGIRE SOPA LODGE (BLD)
Day 5 Mon: Tarangire National Park / Lake Manyara
National Park
After a morning of game viewing and a picnic lunch
in Tarangire National Park, continue to Lake Manyara
National Park. This afternoon, choose from a cycling
safari, a village walk, a forest hike or a short

Day 6 Tue: Lake Manyara National Park
On your full-day game drive you’ll find an abundance
of wildlife, including hippos, zebras, giraffes,
buffaloes, leopards, impalas, wildebeests, baboons
and monkeys. (BLD)
Day 7 Wed: Lake Manyara National Park /
Ngorongoro Crater
Ascend through the highlands to the very rim of the
Ngorongoro Crater. Situated on the crater’s rim,
NGORONGORO SERENA SAFARI LODGE offers a magnificent
view of the crater below. From there, descend into
the crater for a full afternoon of game viewing.
Vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, buffalo,
and their predators—the big cats—roam the crater

Day 8 Thru:Ngorongoro Crater / Olduvai Gorge /
Serengeti National Park
Visit an archeological site at Olduvai Gorge.
Continue to Serengeti National Park, one of the
finest game parks in all of Africa. After settling
in at the lodge, embark on an afternoon game drive.
SERENGETI SERENA SAFARI LODGE (BLD)
Day 9 Fri: Serengeti National Park
The morning may be spent along the river searching
for leopard, or exploring some of the rocky kopjes
(hills) for lion or cheetah resting in the shade. A
balloon safari is available on request (additional

Day 10 Sat: Serengeti National Park / Depart
Kilimanjaro
This morning’s pre-breakfast game drive is your
final opportunity to bask in the unmatched grandeur
of the African safari lands before flying to Arusha
for lunch. A day room is provided at SERENA MOUNTAIN
VILLAGE before you transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport
for your evening departure flight. You may want to
extend your stay with a few days of relaxation in
Zanzibar, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or flying to
the Selous Game Reserve. (BL)
Day 11 Sun: Arrive North America
Arrive home today, your mind and heart filled with
many treasured sights and moments from fascinating
Tanzania.
