Day 1 - Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Kathmandu (Nepal’s ancient capital), you are met and transferred by private car to your hotel. RADISSON HOTEL KATHMANDU
Day 2 - Kathmandu / Pokhara
This morning transfer to Kathmandu airport for your flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy local sightseeing of the area covering Devi’s Fall, Seti Gorge, Mahendra Pool, Lake side and Bindabasini Temple. This evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Phewa. Day 3 - Sarangkot Trek
After breakfast, drive to Naudanda through scenic Hyanja Valley to commence your trek. The trail goes very gradually passing through the villages of Chettris and Brahmins for about 3 hours to Sarangkot (1600 M). After lunch, one can hike up to Sarangkot Tower to get the best views of the entire Annapurna Range and Pokhara Valley including Phewa Lake. After spending some time admiring the view, descend all the way down for about 45 minutes to the base of Sarangkot, from where you will be driven back to your hotel. (B)
Day 4 - Pokhara / Chitwan
After breakfast drive to Chitwan. Upon arrival check-in at your hotel. This afternoon enjoy game viewing on elephant back. MACHAN PARADISE VIEW (BLD)
Day 5 - Chitwan
Enjoy early morning bird watching. Later, visit the educational elephant camp and participate in various other nature activities. This afternoon, enjoy a canoe ride on the Rapti River to see a different aspect of Chitwan wildlife. (BLD)
Day 6 - Chitwan / Kathmandu
Early this morning enjoy a village walk. Then depart for Bharatpur/Meghauli to board your flight to Kathmandu. Your afternoon tour of Kathmandu includes an
exploration of Durbar Square with its abundance of lovely pagoda shaped temples, many bazaars and the Royal Palace. Enjoy a magnificent view of Kathmandu from Swayambunath, also known as the monkey temple. Continue to Bodhnath to see the largest Buddhist stupa in the world. At Pashupatinath, view the most sacred of Nepal’s Shiva shrines, located near the holy river Bagmati. RADISSON HOTEL KATHMANDU (B)
Day 7 - Patan / Bhadgaon Excursion
Visit Patan, an even older city than Kathmandu, featuring hundreds of temples and palaces. You’ll get a rare chance to observe skilled artisans creating ancient handicrafts. Later, enjoy a drive through the beautiful countryside to Bhadgaon, also known as Bhaktapur, with its many interesting temples and palaces. This evening you are treated to a lively Nepalese dance & music presentation followed by dinner. (BD)
Day 8 – Depart Kathmandu
You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight home, with treasured memories of your colorful sojourn through Nepal. (B)
