Day 1 - Arrive Delhi
Arrive today in India’s capital city of Delhi. You are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome and escorted to the hotel. MAIDENS HOTEL.

Day 2 - Delhi
Enjoy a full day tour of Old and New Delhi today. Among your stops are the Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. This afternoon drive along Rajpath to view the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. MAIDENS HOTEL (B)

Day 3 - Delhi / Varanasi-Sarnath
Today fly to Varanasi, located on the sacred Ganges River. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. This afternoon visit the stupas, ruins and museum at Sarnath, scene of Buddha’s first sermon. RADISSON HOTEL (B)

Day 4 - Varanasi / Khajuraho
Early this morning enjoy the sunrise on the Ganges River with a boat ride followed by a walking tour. Later fly to Khajuraho. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Visit the Western group of temples containing the largest and loveliest temples. RADISSON HOTEL (B)

Day 5 - Khajuraho /Agra
This morning visit the principal Eastern group of temples, modest and less ornate than the Western Group. These temples reflect the simplicity inherent in Jainism. Later, drive to Jhansi to board the train to Agra, en route visiting Orcha, a medieval city frozen in time and space. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. TRIDENT HOTEL (B)

Day 6 - Agra / Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast proceed on an excursion to Emperor Akbar’s 16th century abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. Later this afternoon enjoy a city tour of Agra visiting the Fort and the Taj Mahal. TRIDENT HOTEL (B)

Day 7 - Agra / Ranthambhore
An early morning visit to the Taj Mahal presents an opportunity to admire this dream in marble as it welcomes the rising sun. Later, depart for Ranthambhore, the remains of a thousand year old fortress, today a wildlife sanctuary. Your deluxe camp is located on the private reserve of the local Maharajah. TIGER DEN (B)

Day 8 - Ranthambhore Game Reserve
Ranthambhore Game Reserve is one of the few preserves, where the nocturnal camerashy tigers may be seen in daylight. You’ll take game drives in the morning and evening to scour the jungle for wildlife. TIGER DEN (B)

Day 9 - Ranthambhore / Jaipur
After a morning game drive, leave for the “pink city” of Jaipur, where the old city is surrounded by a massive wall pierced by magnificent gates. TRIDENT HOTEL (B)

Day 10 - Amber Fort Excursion & Jaipur
Sightseeing
Today, you are transported back in time, riding royally atop elegantly draped and painted elephants to the mountain fortress of Amber, a superb example of Rajput architecture. This afternoon’s tour of Jaipur takes you to Hawa Mahal or “Palace of Winds” and continues to City Palace, with its latticed balconies, tiny windows, cupolas, courtyards and arched entrances. A stop at the ancient observatory concludes the tour. TRIDENT HOTEL (B)

Day 11 - Jaipur / Udaipur
This morning fly to Udaipur. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon tour this famous ‘City of Lakes’. Visit City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden of Maids, and the folklore museum. TRIDENT HOTEL (B)

Day 12 – Udaipur / Delhi / Depart
This morning is at leisure. This afternoon fly to Delhi. Check in at CITY PARK HOTEL where you have a day room to relax. Later this evening bid farewell to India, and depart on your flight home. (B)
